On September 8, 2026, Daphné Chenel will release Lisbonne, the first single from an upcoming album Les contours set for release on November 6, 2026.
Throughout the song, Daphné reflects on Lisbon, the city she came to call home and where she spent the early years of her adulthood. The city becomes a character in its own right, intertwined with her memories, experiences and the person she has grown into. The song opens with voice and guitar, setting a nostalgic tone, before rhythmic piano and subtle city sounds gradually weave into the arrangement, giving Lisbonne a distinctly personal and authentic character.
The song opens the door to a new musical universe, more organic and orchestral, shaped by warm tones and woody textures, offering a first glimpse into the aesthetic of her upcoming album. Rooted in themes of growth and self-discovery, the album traces an intimate journey of becoming, shaped by the places and experiences that leave their mark along the way. All songs on the album were produced, mixed and mastered by her brother, Barnabé Chenel, musician and composer, with whom she has shared a close musical collaboration since the beginning of her musical journey.
